M1A1 Tank Program

Working closely with KPMG, Horsell delivered Technical Writing and Illustration services for the M1A1 Project under PLAN Centaur, producing more than 1,000 pages of handbooks, service schedules and technical publications.

 

The project included revision of the Revised Australian Servicing Schedule (RASS) and User Handbook (UHB), building extensive platform knowledge that continues to support work across the Abrams variants.

Land Systems Division

Since 2017, Horsell has provided direct support to Defence’s Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), including commercial and project management support for LAND 8140.

​

Our work has included developing commercial and contracting documentation, supporting tender development and evaluation, managing tender responses, and preparing documentation and plans for key internal and Government approval stages.

OneSKY

Horsell supported Thales and Airservices Australia on the OneSKY program, providing ASDEFCON Bid Author and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) expertise to develop tender responses and clarifications for Australia’s integrated civil and military air traffic management system.

Horsell was subsequently engaged to project manage the Supportability Engineering Team, coordinating ILS activities and ongoing support across the program.

Army Knowledge Centre

From 2019 to 2021, Horsell supported the Army Knowledge Centre in the development and delivery of doctrine, procedural documentation and professional publications for Army units.

 

Our team provided up to ten editorial and production specialists working remotely and

on-site, producing publications to Commonwealth and Army standards and contributing to Army doctrine, professional journals and publications including the Smart Soldier series.
